Hate to say this, but I sold off most of my Spyderco knives after carrying my full-size Manix for a while. I kept my Pacific Salt for fishing and my modified Byrd Cara Cara with green micarta scales. All of my knives are users and I just kept reaching for the Manix so everything else had to go.

The C-95 Manix is my favorite knife! At first I thought it was too big. Now it feels just perfect in my hand and pocket.

I sent my Caly 3 in to Spyderco W&R because of vertical blade play. Nearly 10 weeks later I received a replacement Caly 3 with nearly the same blade play as the three week old knife I originally sent in. I sold the replacement off on eBay because I refuse to accept a "clicking" vertical blade play ...

You can make some yourself with pink linen, slow-cure epoxy, and a press. Others can make it for you, but the price I was quoted was, well, :eek:

I love my Captain, but like most knives it isn't suitable for all cutting jobs. I usually carry one locking Spyderco and a smaller slipjoint knife. In my pockets today you'll find the knives pictured below (not to scale). I have several blade options at my disposal to handle most tasks.
