Actually the FRN D4 is a saber flat grind. And the SS D4 is a saber hollow grind.

bubbamets, I had the same conundrum a few months ago, and went with both. :) I have found that an SE Tasman and a PE Atlantic (both with yellow handles) make a versatile combination. I like the serrations on the hawkbill, and the plainedge sheepsfoot is very useful, and a dream to sharpen. I can't ...
