Hey Carlos,
Thant's a good question... What I've been using the past few weeks is a product called Deep Lube. No complaints so far, one thing I like about it is it has a pleasant smell, kind of like pine; it is also a natural oil which is a plus in my book as well. The Tuff-Glide sounds better, but ...

Greetings gentlemen,
hey Brian, you seem to be knowledgeable in this matter; are you from the NY area? If so, do you have any idea about the laws in NJ? In particular, a recomended way of finding out about the municipal ordinances? Any info would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks,
Mac

Tuff-Glide sounds great. Where can I get some? The local hardware store does not seem to carry it.

I'll back up Blades on the Dragonfly, great ergonomics. Alot of cutting power in a little package. IMO the best small folder I've come across; and it makes an elegant money clip.

Thanks for the reply Sal; sounds good to me. Although I gotta say, I'm running out of stuff to sharpen with the 204. I am having way too much fun, what a great tool! Everyone should have one in their home.
Thanks,

Just got my Native II!! Question...

Greetings all,

I just picked up my Native II on Friday and I AM IN LOVE11...again...(I hope my Dragonfly does not get jealous). I'm sure every single thing I love about this knife has been said by other Native owners but suffice to say, I am very pleased with this piece. Thanks to Sal and all at ...

I understand your Jaguar dilema fully Allen. I picked up two Jaguars on a fluke about six months back. I am not sure what the models were but the larger one seemed to be a knock-off of a Smith&Wesson design while the other seemed about the size of a ladybug. Both were liner locks. Sadly, I never ...

Neer mind Hannibal, howzabout a good guy using a Spyderco? I think Bond should use a Native II (sleek & elegant) in his next flick. I doubt even Q could improve on a Spyderco design.

Hey Matthew,
You probably already knew this, but just in case, the SS Native does come with a 50/50 combo edge. Unless you don't like stainless handles, that might be an opition for you in the future. This way you can have a daily carry and a Native for those "black-tie" ocasions.

Hi Clay,
I had a chance to see and handle both models. Keep in mind I'm a novicee when it comes to spydies but here's my humble opinion...The only difference I noticed between the two models right away were their respective sizes. I'm sure you already know the specs on each knife, what I can tell ...

Wow Sal, with a serrated Moran at your side, who needs a hunting axe? I agree with sgtmike88 though, a partial serrated edge with anywhere from an inch to a 50/50 would be great IMO. This way the plain edge portion could be used for chores where a cleaner cut is desired. That combo would make a ...

Recieved a DRagonfly II for Christmas, that was my first spydie. Two weeks have passed and I already have a Native II on the way; I am also looking at the calypso jr., co-pilot & spydercard to name a few. I think it's safe to say I'm sold on spyderco's.

Moran question for Sal

Hi Sal, are there any plans to produce a Moran with a partial spyderedge? About an inch worth would be divine. I've been thinking about a fixed blade for a field knife and like the look of the Moran. Plus, the dealer I talked to says he has three customers that swear by it. A Moran with about an ...

I'm with glockman99 & Psychmajor, a cordura or maybe ballistics sheath for horizontal carry would be great. For one thing, if you're like me and engage in alot of camping, climbing etc. Having sheaths would allow for carrying more than one spydie. I once lost my knife while on a camping trip and ...

Hey folks,
Thanks to everybody for the great advice. I ended up going with a 50/50 SS Native. The decision to go with serrated comes from the fact that I spend alot of time cutting through cardboard, nylon & hemp ropes etc. As far as the handle goes, I really like the added heft that the SS handle ...
