Thanks for the reply Blades. Yeah I'm a little reluctant to tackle it without that info. Sure would look nice with an exotic wood or CF inlay though.

Just got a Vesuvius and while I like the knife, I'm not wild about the blue inlay. Is it possible to remove the inlay in one piece in order to use it as a pattern for replacement material. I'd like to use carbon fiber or a rosewood veneer. Any thoughts?

Sal, I prefer black clips on all my knives and have the luxury of living near Golden. I can pick up replacement clips for those that the finish is worn/scratched. What about those who don't have that convenience or have worn clips on other brands of knives? Is there a do-it-yourself method of ...
