Gentleman, you guys are a world of info and I thank you for that. I personally never thought a knife could be to sharp. Just to thin for some of my cutting chores. I think I know how I did it. Ever try cutting those ties that hold toys (grandson Christmas :) ), etc to the packaging?

Thanks guys :) I don't know exactly what chipped it but I cut everything from card board, cork or anything else I need to cut. I guess it's just a little to thin for everything I use it for (no chisel though). I guess I'm used to thicker edge. Razorsharp - I'll try that. Thanks

Such a thing as to sharp?

I got myself a Delica Wave as my new edc. It's very sharp :D but I have already chipped the sh_t out of the blade. Nothing like my old Caly f/s.

Just sharing my thoughts :)

Just a quick foto of my EDC's. Depending on the the day of the week and where I'm going. Sometimes carry two ( or 3 w/ SWK).
Delica wave is the new favorite carry and my old faithful f/s Caly. The AFCK is my very fav weekend carry. Has the custom titanium clip for tip up carry.

I've been carrying my old Caly f/s for a while (great knife even though it was tip up) after my blk ti intergated clip Delica got ripped off. Never cared for the Native.
Just got a Delica wave...... love this knife! :D

You could do the economy a favor and add country of origin to your list of considerations. After all, you'll be looking for a job at some point, presumably here in the U.S.A.

The Native 5 is extremely robust. Think tractor. It's in my pocket at this very moment.

The Sage series are all ...

Thought I would be happy with my new BM530SBK......... wrong!
Even though it's tip down (not a fav) I went back to my Calypso JR. It's a great little knife with great ergonomics. I have a boat load of expensive knives, big, small, etc. but this is one solid little knife that I can depend on. j

Fighting Knives was such a great mag! Probably the only reason I own a Randall Model 14. It was Greg Walkers: Shop Tour of Randall Made Knives (Jan '95) that did it for me. :D (thanks Greg)

Hello badjujuboy, and a warm welcome to the Forum.

Is this your only :spyder: ? If so, you have a very controversial piece, judging from the above posts. How do you find the grip this knife ?
Mike, thanks for the welcome! Glad to be here. :)

My first was a SE Delica, G2 Blk Ti with FRN clip. Bought it in '95. The funny thing about this little knife is that it scared the **** out of the sheeple :D
