+1 I would buy several of these!!!!!
I really don't care what kind of scale.
Just having a Chaparral in M4 would be fantastic!

Chaparral 1: I love how this thing cuts.
When I first got mine, I thought it was too sharp on all the non-cutting parts. The liners were too sharp, the lockbar was too sharp etc. So I took it apart and sanded all the workings of the knife. Once I reassembled it, it hasn't left my pocket.

I actually ...

I'm glad you got the knife.

I really like the Techno. It calls to me. Unfortunately I like it in all respects except for one thing: cutting. Which kind of sucks, since that's what a knife is for. I find that the spine of the blade is just too thick. I have been toying with trying to thin the blade ...

Thanks Guys for all of the answers.

So let me see if I've got the summary correct: I probably won't notice a difference between S30V and CTS-XHP in real life.

But S30V will loose it's fine push cutting edge quicker, but will continue with a toothy slicing edge for longer.
If I want to have a a ...

Chaparral S30V vs CTS-XHP : Will I notice a difference?

I have a Chaparral in S30V that I am re-profiling it now to 15 dps on the sharpmaker. I will be using it for my usual EDC need - food prep, small medium cutting tasks, wood whittling, zip ties etc.

I am wondering if I would notice a difference if I went ahead and purchased it in CTS-XHP? If the ...

That looks fantastic!

I always wanted a Manix, but I'm a Techno/Dragonfly sized knife man.
Your mod would be perfect!

What platform do you think a comp-lock should be on? Sage? Caly? Delica?

I would love a chaparral/ techno sized knife (i.e. just a bit smaller than a delica) with a compression lock. It wouldn't have to be along the PM lines.
But I've been mostly carrying my Techno and Chaparral lately. I ...

I just wanted to post the rest of the story in case anybody was following this thread. After spending way too much time thinking about this, I decided to send the Caly 3 in to get it checked out. I figured I would wonder about it 'forever' if I did not send it in. Another thought was if I sell it ...

Can the Tek Lok be moved to the other side of the sheath for left hand carry???
I'd love to get one, but I'd like the sheath to be ambi.

Thanks

I really was thinking that thing was going to be a bit smaller. I didn't think it would be that much larger than a Delica or a Calypso Jr. That's just way too big for my liking.
Sadly I feel the same way!!!
I was kind of hoping for something closer to a delica size Manix. Now that would have been ...
