I have had my Para for a few years now. It has not ever let me down. It does very well for work with gloves as Spyderco intended. Light, strong, and capable are the words I would use to describe it. So far I have not found a use for more knife than the Para.

Oh I got a PE para that had been creatively wrapped up as my EDC for the last entire month hehehe

My first spyderco was this same native I PE, one year ago. Let me say that mine also had the oil in the pivot. I think this has a benefit however. A new spyderco needs to wear in a little bit at the pivot and the oil can help with friction. Over time the oil will go away too and wear in the pivot ...

I agree it can be hard to sharpen at times, but there is just something so unique about the blue g10. One of my most treasured spydercos ever!

I love the short blades spyderco makes. I EDC only short blades under 3 1/2". They draw less attention and are pretty light. I just saw that new navigator 2, another great example of a great small blade.

It is funny you post this about the SE delica as I was thinking the same thing. It is just so light and cuts things so well I love it for its cost effectiveness and ulitity.

I would go with my SE Lil temp and PE Para. That would be 2 great heavy duty slicers.

I am at 8 right now and feel pretty content.

Quite simply because I have come to feel unprepared without one on me. And they are like an acessory as well. It can be a good stress ball too, who doesnt like reassuring g10 scales and s30v in their pocket?

Well as much as I LOVE buying spydercos, I have challenged myself to not buy another one for a year. I just got my Para and plan on EDCing it as much as possible. I think I will be happy with it for a very long time. Need to devote money to other things right now.

Yes, I just use the corners on the sharpmaker rods for the dodo. What I did to restore the pointy tip was use the flat part of the rods and run the spine of the blade along it, with the tip trailing. I take my time so I keep the blade perpendicular to the rod. This does not remove too much metal and ...

Thats quite the pocket cutting power you have there. Very nice selection to choose from.

I just started carrying a para last week for edc. I must say that I like the light weight. Compared to a knife weighing around 6 oz in the pocket I prefer it.
