Re: Lil' Native - compression lock

Laughs in Shaman.

Just move your finger out of the way before the knife closes all the way. There are a few designs with the comp lock that you need to do that. Once you get used to it you wont notice.

Re: Native 5 FRN in S90V

Theres no deal with them, they just arent popular, pretty much because of the color. S90v is usually in more expensive models, but it also usually gets paired with carbon fiber which drives the price up. A lot of frn models that get s90v have a closer to normal price. My manix 2 lightweight with s90...

Re: Shaman Z-Wear Sprint - General Discussion & Support thread - (not alerts)

Has anyone else noticed a scratching noise when they open and close their shaman? I have a noise that appears to be coming from the compression lock rubbing on the blade when opening and closing. I tried oiling the detent ball but it still makes a scratching noise. I don’t know whether or not it is...

I was thinking about ordering one up via Amazon until I saw the price. They make Randalls, any Randall, seem cheap in comparison: https://www.amazon.com/Yoshihiro-Heisei ... ast_sto_dp
Googling around there seems to be much cheaper ones than that one.

Re: Wharncliffe Para Military 2 CUTLERY SHOPPE EXCLUSIVE

Still showing available 3.5 hours after launch. How long did the first batch of the BHQ Tanto PM2s last? I wonder if the availability of so many Seki back locks with wharnie blades; plus the Canis, Yojimbo, and Yojumbo; have tempered demand for this blade shape, even in a PM2. Im thinking thats it....

Re: Mule Team G10 handle "too small" ? Does not cover tang fully

Mine are the same. But there was just enough slack in the handle screw holes that I could make it nearly flush with the top of the tang or bottom of the tang.

Re: Where to purchase GEC?

Also want to throw this out there. The made in Germany boker traditional patterns are really good and several of them have carbon steel.

I actually think theyre the only people making a higher end congress pattern right now. Which is one of the most American traditional patterns. Irony.

Re: Where to purchase GEC?

I can remember like 5 years ago you could actually get them. I just didnt want any at the time. Now you cant touch them. According to their website they have a couple models shipping out to dealers this week. Im hoping to get one of the crown lifters if I can find one in stock. Seems the traditional...

Re: Shamen voodoo heresy?

Allright good, this has nothing to do with me. Not that Im secretly doing anything weird to my Shamans... I only watched the first minute of the video. Blasphemy I say! The handle is what makes the Shaman the Shaman. I could see wanting a different material or more grip but changing the shape? No th...

Re: CruWear on PM2?

Thank you for the info. I like the sound of CruWear being tougher on the tip! Although I once heard someone saying that he/she rolled the tip on a CruWear PM2 piercing the tape on an Amazon box. have you found that CruWear is prone to rolling/bending? Im finding it pretty hard to believe that any s...

Re: Wharncliffe Para Military 2 CUTLERY SHOPPE EXCLUSIVE

I want to like it... But between the Yojimbo, Yojumbo, Canis, and Endura 4 wharncliffe Im not sure what this does that the others dont.

Im still sure it will sell out in minutes.

Its pretty bad how much better a modified caribbean looks compared to this.

Not trying to be a hater, just saying.

Im interested, but right now I think whoever sharpened it just put a much better edge on it than the factory edge.
