Re: Hey Ed. Whatchathink?

As with others, not Ed, but enjoy seeing a knife with a WA handle. My Kitchen knives favor this handle and I prefer them to the "Western" style handle. Also, my WA knives are all double edged, Wa, thin "lasers" (Aogami, Blue, White, Super,RG2) . I would enjoy a Spyderco venture i...

Re: Am I the only one?

Try the Yo2. The thing just flies open with middle finger.. and it feels natural once you do it a couple of times. This is a great lead in to my response. I could never flick my Spydies with middle finger and was amazed by the videos. Then, got a Yo-2 one day and it worked just fine. Suddenly found...

Re: Favorite Spyderco for Cutting Cardboard?

Well, just finished a 3 day volunteer stint in the Forrest where 175 good folks restored a meadow for wildlife. As part of the "Chuck-wagon" crew ended up cutting up well over a hundred boxes into manageable pieces with Manix 2 Maxamet. It kept on cutting and never quit. Every cut was clea...

Had no hesitation to pre-order the Millie. Thanks for another great offering in steel and color for this perfect knife.

At the bottom of the screen there is a "quick reply" window. Underneath that window is a button for "full editor and preview". When you click on that it will open another reply window with icons across the top, starting with B I U. Abouth the 9th one over is an icon to upload ima...

Re: Next Generation Military suggestions thread?!?!

Methinks this thread is a nudge. You make the real point here I think. As much passion as I have for the Military as it is, and only look to different steels as change-worthy, the reality is we would not have a PM2, Delica 4, Endura 4, Salt 2, Techno 2 etc. if it were not for the vision, creativity...

Another vote for leave it as it is, especially the Liner lock. Period. It is the perfect knife. Leave it alone!

And, yes, I do have 23 of them so give me 23 votes.

Re: Military 204P or 52100

Checking out the Millie is a good move in my opinion. I carried the ZT-804 in 204P for awhile, and while the blade is sharp and the coating is superb, the flipping has become clunky and slow. And it is very heavy. Nowhere near the deployment of a Millie with a flick. And single-handed closing with t...

Re: Which is your most useful and most used Spyderco?

Military tops my list as well. One is always on me, but seldom alone. Manix (esp. Maxamet) for other tough jobs. Natives and Caly's dress nice and get the job done as well. But a Millie is always my first choice to put in my pocket. Good to see so many other Millie users speaking up here.

Re: My first Spyderco -- help me decide between 2 (well, 3) Militaries.

And hey, if you happen to have an extra 2011 CTS-XHP Brown G10 lying around in the knife collection, you should send one my way. Sorry, no extras there. I wish there were, that is another great knife/steel that excels. Nicely done, glad to see you got both of the KW knifes. I hope you like t...

Re: My first Spyderco -- help me decide between 2 (well, 3) Militaries.

I applaud your choice of the military. It is my primary choice and I have 23 of them, including each you list above. 1 of the CF/TI, 1 of the Cruwear and 4 of the Green CTS-204P. Note that all three you have mentioned have limited current availability which is why I picked up so many extras of the 2...

Re: Stolen package after warranty service

Sorry for your loss. I hope it is resolved but what comes next may be bad/good news. For me, when a UPS driver delivered to the wrong address making a claim made my address blocked for further deliveries of any kind/value by them so as to require a signature. If you get as many deliveries as me (thi...

You've got my vote for an elmax milli and many more milli releases would all be welcome. A Salt version does sound "tasty".
