My proposed changes:

1. A tiny bit larger (maybe a 2.75" blade, but keep the stock thickness at 0.089")
2. Micarta scales
3. Wire clip
What he said.

Re: Predictions for Reveal 6

Now that the Reveal is out I, as the OP, will declare winners for Best Predictions. It will take me a while to sort through things.

Predictions for Reveal 6

In what I hope are the last few days (or even hours!) before the next Reveal, I was wondering what you all predict will be in it? I was thinking of these more as trying-to-be-right predictions rather than hopes and dreams. Feel free to comb through Sal's Casual Bombshell Thread ( https://forum.spyde...

Re: What was your 1st Spyderco?

My first Spyderco was a Para Military 2 (S30V, black handle, plain edge). I gave it to a friend when I got one in S110V. He's not 100% hooked on Spyderco (like I am), but still uses it.

Spyderco Kitchen Knife Questions

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here owns a Wakiita Funayuki (K16G) and could offer their thoughts on it, and in particular how it compares to other kitchen knives they own. I am particularly interested in how it compares to the Spyderco Cook's Knife (K11), for anyone who has both of these. Thank y...

Re: Bradley 3/Bradley Air 2?

If I only got to choose one (a Bradley 3 or an Air 2) I would choose an Air 2. How I'd like it changed is (in order of importance to me): - Addition of a clip. - Increase in size (but not in blade thickness). Between 2.8" and 3" for the blade would be nice. - Different scale material. Maybe a nice C...

Double Gayle Bradley Day. Here's to hoping the Nightstick is not the only new Gayle Bradley collaboration released this year. Looks cool and I'm sure the quality will be very high—just not my jam.

Re: Are you done with 2019, Spydie wise? What do you wish for in 2020?

I am done with 2019. This year I got a Stretch Super Blue and a Dragonfly 2 Salt (SE). For 2020 I am hoping for: •Anything from Gayle Bradley. If the Bradley Bowie gets discontinued and discounted like the Junction was I wont be able to resist. •Swick 5 •A return of the Michael Walker (I think Sal s...

Re: Custom scales pics.

Micarta scales for my Stretch. I had been thinking about replacing the clip, but I think it goes so much better with the new scales than it did with the original ones that I'll stick with it. For the curious, I had them made by suingab whose website is g10.lt. James Very nice!! Have been thinking f...

Re: Cold Steel

I have two CS knives: a Mini Tuff Lite and a Code 4 (clip point). I bought both previously owned (though hardly used) for about half the price they sell for new. I think the Mini Tuff Lite has been discontinued, but they can be tracked down. I like both of them. I use the Mini Tuff Lite more than th...

Old knives making a triumphant return: Michael Walker CF (Michael Walker CF  ) 4. New knife collaborations and/or designs: S...

Tropen (C237GP)

So many cool things in the Mid-Year New Product Guide. The Tropen looks amazing, but it seems like there's quite a bit of the blade exposed next to the lock-release (with the knife is closed). Since I haven't handled it I have no idea whether it is an issue to be concerned about. If anybody has hand...

Re: Spyderco Junction

I got one a couple of months ago, for the same uses you stated. I haven't used it a lot, but when I have it has served me well. I was deciding between this and a PD#1 Mule. I chose it because (A) I'm a sucker for Bradley-designed Spyderco knives, (B) it was second-hand and a good deal, and (C) I fig...
