Re: Customer Disservice?
Perhaps I am used to bad service (and in my country, good service is not the norm) but I still do not see much of an issue here. Also as a matter of fact, with reference to the automotive example, I do indeed go to other suppliers that has the parts I need. I also selected my car specifically with ...

Re: Customer Disservice?
I find it odd that this is a "thing". Excuse me for stating the obvious, but you are willing to pay for a new sheath. The friendly lady at Spyderco directed you to a few people that are able to provide this service. You have a knife that you stake your life on. (Spyderco is known for knives, not ...

Re: My new Mantra-Should I return it?
I think with any business where products are ordered via the internet, there are a number of things that may go wrong. Its the nature of the beast so to speak. Like all the (very good points made so far) its almost a question of when more so than if something will go wrong between the shop, its ...

Hi,
I am a landscape architect by profession so I like to think I understand a little of the design process. I'm really impressed by how Sal and co handle these kind of things. A large part of why I like Spyderco so much and intend to be a life long customer is their approach to design and ...

Re: Remove scratches on bd-1 blade
Hi,
Have you thought about using polypads? Think they are used in the engineering sector to polish stainless steel to different grades (including food grade which is super shiny and smooth.) If you use the maroon pad a bit and then finish with the white, you should be able to remove any scratches ...

Hi Mark,
Are you referring to Balistol as in the bore cleaner? If so, I would imagine its not the best option. Because it was designed as a bore cleaner, although not very aggressive, it does have some copper removing agents.. (removing copper fouling from the bore) So I would imagine this may ...

Re: What is your most common EDC task?
Main use would be cutting fruit during the week. Also I just found that theres me small tasks that would not necessarily require a knife, but its way more fun to use it! Also during weekends we spend a lot of time around a braai (similar to a BBQ but not quite) so comes in handy making kindling and ...

Re: Manix Lightweight in S110V
Hi, I'd like to ask a general question regarding this..
