Re: Zirconium scaled Para 3.
I have scads of Titanium (metal) scaled knives, a few Aluminum (metal) ones, and one Copper (metal). The Copper (metal) is very heavy but the way the finish evolves with use makes up for that. And of course with Titanium (metal) weight really isn't an issue. I wouldn't have any issue with this ...

Re: Spyderco kitchen knife block
Nothing I like better than seeing my best knife out on the counter in the block so someone can grab it at random to open a package or worse.

Re: Spyderco kitchen knife block

It's easy to get an empty knife block. Just fill the slots with your list and go to town.

An avalanche of innuendo here and 0% hard data.
How about someone with admin rights look at dane's email address from the sign up and compare that to the sent items in the warranty department. Maybe they can share more details on the specifics of the failure and the response by the warranty desk.

Re: The Pocket Hobbit
Yeah I like the blade shape. They'll just have to figure out how to work the hole into this without loosing the shape or making it awkward.
I have faith.

Re: The Pocket Hobbit
Hi Civilian_G10,
Bob Taylor was a friend of mine and I have one of his Pocket Hobbits in my office. However, I asked Bob before he passed if there was any particular model that he's want us to "Spyderize" and produce? He said it would be his "Sifu" design. But if we made any of Bob's designs, we ...

Re: Compression Lock Models with Back Lock
None. I don't fidget with my knives but I sure like them to pop open when I need them. The back lock puts so much drag on the blade that doesn't happen.
If anyone wants a really stiff compression lock just track down a Szabo.

Re: Poll: Favorite Manufacturing Site
I have great knives from Japan, Taiwan, the USA, and Italy. I haven't been disappointed by the quality of any factory.
My personal taste seems to lean towards the Taiwan factory as the most interesting knives.
