Re: Carbon Fiber Manbug
I carry a SB manbug daily, its one of my favorites, I think its the SB that attracts me more than anything but I do like having a small backup also. To answer your question though, I would definitely be down with a CF version of the manbug and would probably buy one seeing as I have absolutely no se...

Re: People who have both Native 5 and Manix 2 s110v(s)
I would also choose the manix2 LW s110v, like its light weight and it just fits my hand perfect. I actually got two of the natives and have yet to carry either. I carry the manix all the time.

I dont understand this mentality, seems these same people would soil themselves if they ever came to AK and seen folks around here not just carrying knives but open carrying handguns. See it all the time and it doesn't even phase most.

Youtube has all the tutorial vids posted, just search sharpmaker, the entire series is available featuring our very own Mr. Sal showing how its done.eldiablojoe wrote:Huh - Makes you wonder when Spyderco will post videos on proper sharpening techniques in their Edge-U-Cation website section.

Re: Post your Spyderco collection in one picture!
I had a bit of time today so I figured I would attempt this shot that I had been avoiding since Spencer started this thread. This is a larger portion of my collection, excluding the fixed blades, Mules, Delicas, Dragonflys, Kopas, Kiwis and Ladybugs. I need a bigger table to complete the shot. http...

Re: best all around steel for folding knife use?
Well it depends on what a person is looking for in a knife and that's going to vary. Since we are talking about folders here in this thread and likely 4" or under blade since it's Spyderco forum so it's not likely one will be pounding their folder through bricks or splitting wood with it. I wo...

Re: Another "What Knife to Buy" Thread
Out of the ones you listed, I only have the manix 2, didnt like how wide it was at first but after carrying the LW S110V for a while and then the Cruwear sprint I must say the manix is really starting to grow on me, really liking the way it fills my hand and both blade steels are awesome, especially...

Re: No more messing around...
Tough question for sure, lately I've really been liking the manix models, LW S110v is freakin awesome and the cruwear is just plain classy, but if I had to choose just one spyderco I think it would have to be my southard, great size, stout build, blade shape and steel are perfect for me.
