It is indeed. :D Since the first time I laid eyes on one, I knew I'd *have* to have one.

Awesome catch! :D
I think I never saw a Kriss in such a nice shape. Looks like a New Old Stock piece, hidden for years at highest top of the shelf.
I think you may be right about that. From what I can tell, this knife has never been carried. Somebody treated it very well or perhaps it was sitting on a dusty shelf somewhere waiting to be found!

I really lucked out, and found an amazing deal on a LNIB Kris very early in my Spydie accumulating. Finding that "grail" Schempp is what then led me to acquire all the rest of the Schempp designed Spydercos. Enjoy!
Thank you very much! :) Mr. Schempp's design work is simply amazing. Congrats on getting all of his designs! I have a few to go before I have the complete "set" (such as the Barong, Equilibrium, and a few others).

Me too! :D

One of just a couple Spyders of mine that are forever safe from the Sharpmaker... :spyder: :)
ENJOY!!! :D
Yes indeed! Although the Sharpmaker is great for serrated edges, I will NOT be trying my hand on it with this blade!
WireEdge Roger wrote:Awesome! My daughters birthday was Saturday, but she didn't get anything that cool, only The Sims 4 :D
Haha! If given a choice, I'll bet she'd rather have the Sims, though.

Thanks man!
jabba359 wrote:Congrats on both snagging a beautiful bride as well as the Kris. I had also been searching for one for many years and finally managed to score a NIB specimen. Lacking a beautiful bride, I was forced to purchase the Kris myself.

Thank you, Kyle! I'm very fortunate (and lucky) to have such a sweetie. She spoils me rotten. :D I hope you might find a Spyderco-savvy beautiful bride someday too! :)
RadioactiveSpyder wrote:Awesome finds, both your lady and the knives! I'm still pining for my Kris, it was stolen from the local USPS sorting facility early this year after taking me a while to track down. My biggest loss of 2014. Keep yours close!!
I'm sorry to hear that, man.

That is not cool. I truly hope this will work itself out. Please let me know when you hear something.
