I purchased a ultra fine stone, it did seem to bring the knife to another level of sharpness

I work for water and sewer public works so I figured the H1 steel was a good idea

Which bevel setting is ideal for the rods ? And is it worth getting the ultra fine set ?

So I’ve read thru some of these forums and watched several videos, but I can’t seem to find a collective agreement on sharpening. I ordered a sharpmaker kit.
