Re: Spyderhole

Thank you both! I saw the spider from my window and thought that I should find some alternative use for the Spyderhole. :-)
Still no guesses on the blade? :-)

Re: Bad experience from Customer Service

To summarize: using a genrleman's folder as a salt water environment work knife and oyster shucker, concerned about knife wear on $300+ pants and upset that Spyderco's published warranty terms are applicable to him results in whining and ill-founded complaints in a public forum. Sell a pair of your...

Re: Bad experience from Customer Service

Uhu, must admit that I never really have looked under the clip of my Tasman. But on all knives that allow multiple clip positions the surface under the clip will be the same rough FRN surface that gives that awesome grip. Or am I mistaken here? Mistaken. still mistaken. Proof me wrong then? I've ch...

Well... There is really no nice way to say this, but the slacks I'm concerned about costs way more than 300 dollar. ^^

Nah, I think that the Ladybug SE would be best. Would take some time too, might give the thief something to think about. :-)

Re: Bad experience from Customer Service

I believe in most designs, the clip rests on a flat smooth surface of the FRN, minimizing the friction. What kind of fabric it is that got ruined by Spyderco FRN clipit? Uhu, must admit that I never really have looked under the clip of my Tasman. But on all knives that allow multiple clip positions...

Re: Bad experience from Customer Service

Using the Domino as a salt knife seems a poor decision to me. Personally I consider my Domino as more of gent's knife or edc knife. Spyderco make so many variants for harsh environments there must be something else that fits the bill, you have the Tusk and Spydeichef at the higher end and the Salt ...

Re: Bad experience from Customer Service

Captain T, have you owned or used the Spyderco Pacific Salt folders? Those may be the perfect knife for you. Just wondering. Hi, No, I have not handled the Pacific at all, but the FRN ruins the knife's chance to become my EDC. I don't like the feeling of it and would not dare to clip it to more fra...

Thanks a bunch for all the comments, folks. It certainly looks like Spyderco have some picking up to do in their Customer Service department. A huge thank you to the user who sent me an email with a link to a seller he has bought washers and bearings from. <3 This forum is still the best, a dysfunct...

FRN might be lightweight and cheap, but it looks like crap in my opinion. Besides, the Tasman is my wife's running knife.

Bad experience from Customer Service

I need some parts for my Blue Weave Domino, since the mechanic (bearings and washers) have rusted. The parts I need is two "bearings" (more like two bubbly washers) and two plain washers. Total weight should be somewhere way below 5 grams. I tried to reach Spyderco through the site form bu...

Re: First Spyderco!

The last picture from your friend in Singapore poses the fabulous Hungarian folder. I bought that one for my brother in law, who takes this knife business pretty serious. He got a heap of Spydercos, Bucks, Sebenza and whatnot. The Hungarian is outstanding if one like that particular look, some might...
