Yes, will contact the company, figured maybe this was an engineering flaw that led to the discontinuation of this knife.
Maybe they will fix it up.
A favorite that fell out of my pocket because of the weak plastic clip (Walker) is also no longer produced.

Dialex,
guess I wasn't very clear.
When the blade pivots to the closed position, the back part (not the top), has a small protrusion that is sharp because of the fine machined edge on this back side.
It is the part that makes up flush with the handle when locked open.

am a new poster, have a question on the blackhawk....

does anyone else have a problem with the sharp edge of the back part of the blade when folded and clipped in the pocket??
