Legit dealers no longer have the knife.

Is this what you're looking for?

Re: Baby Jess Horn

Hi Sal, please, please don’t forget that I asked you in person at the OKCA show for a full size Horn just like the recent gray G10 Baby version!! :D I also asked Eric about it at this year’s show. Thanks! Radioactive +1 This would be awesome, though I would be in on any future Horn models. :) The B...

I'd be down for a Red one and a Blue one and a Yellow one and for sure we need another one in BRG!

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

No problem!

I'm guessing the latter, but really don't know for sure. My 2nd was shipped today, so it'll be the standalone route for me either way. :)

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

Sorry I must have missed this - but what is the story on the "new" sheath? Is there a second release with a different sheath coming out? Thanks for any info :-) https://forum.spyderco.com/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=84774&sid=ba0b9263ebfefa1742fd3851ed229b49 Definitely need to get an ambi sheath for mine.

Re: Manix 2 lightweight choices or ?

Related - I’m left handed, so do I require a PM2 lefty in my collection? Thanks in advance for the thoughts. Imo, yes on the lefty pm2. Having the lock reversed made an even bigger difference than I thought it would. I guess the downsides are you can't get it in any sprint steels and it might spoil...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

I have fairly average, size large glove hands and don't have any issues with the handle size. Individuals with very large hands might, but it's probably fine for most people. While it's clearly a smaller knife, the functional grip area is actually pretty similar to the area behind the choil on the S...

Re: Where is my Bow River ?

Here's a family portrait of of my trailing point knives. I am a really big fan of the form. Also, I am amazed at how thin the Bow River is behind the edge. I measure it at about 0.018 to 0.020 bte. I ran it over the brown SM stones and it has a sticky sharp edge now. https://i.imgur.com/PsVQmI2.jpg...

Thank you!

Almost forgot, busy night. Preparing some banana peppers, etc, for lacto-fermentation and using the Bow River to do it all. Pulled out the South Fork for another quick shot:

Can we see the Bow River next to a Southfork?

Is the handle bigger on the Bow River?

It's smaller. I posted a pic on page 10. Can get a proper top-down comparison pic later if no one beats me to it.

Are these all sold out?

There's still a couple on Ebay right now for not terrible prices, but I'd think a bunch more dealers will have stock soon. Blade HQ (pre-order) and Cutlery Shoppe had them with a free shipping option, but looks like they're both sold out at the moment.

Still showing a $5 pre-order for me. Not sure when it went up, but I placed an order there this morning.

Re: So about that "red" Loctite...

Yeah, that's rough. I don't do much disassembly, but do reposition most of my clips for left hand carry. The clip screw on my Sliverax had copious amounts of loctite like that. A soldering iron saved me from stripping the screw entirely before I got it out, but it's still mangled. Old pic from the S...

Re: COFFEE: Who Drinks The REAL Stuff? Gourmet Beans too?

I'm in pretty deep. Currently use a Cuisinart Grind & Brew with a burr grinder and use whole beans exclusively. I buy from local shops that do their own roasting when I can, but don't have a place nearby that's real convenient so we end up getting beans from the supermarket fairly often. Starbuck's ...

Re: Frankenstein titanium UKPK?

^Yeah, if I recall correctly the old g10, cf, and ti UKPKs use 3mm stock. The frn ones and the current HH exclusive use 2.5mm stock. Don't know enough about the internals to know if moving the backspring and blade together would work. My suggestion would be to just buy a g10 one from HH and a couple...
