The mules are probably what I like the most about Spyderco...for all the obvious reasons. Got one of each. That's not to say I don't love my other spydies. The pleasure of a fine steel is rarely paralleled. Spyderco uses a lot of them, and is always introducing new ones. AND BETTER ONES... like that ...

I got the a Wicked Edge Propak 2 a couple of weeks ago, with extras. That alone probably qualifies me as obsessive. And now that the hones are breaking in, I'm getting some laser edges. I've been sharpening my knives for over 40 years, but I've never had edges like I'm beginning to get now. That ...

This obviously is a sticky subject. But I want to be painfully personal and vulnerable on this issue. It is very important to me. I might could be considered a 'flipper' if the only data available was what was easily available online, because I do do buy/sell/trade quite a few knives online. But ...

I primarily carry an s110v SnG, but when I have the need, I also carry a PM2 cts-20cp. A perfect duo IMHO. Hard use and a slicer. Both bad *** to the bone. But for those times when a fixed blade is called for, I'll clip that k390 mule on my belt. And the more I use it, the more impressed I am with ...

I haven't gotten a shipping notice yet either. My confirmation email was 10:06 MT

Waiting on my shipping notice, as well. But I do have a sheath for it, and some dyed and stabilized wood burls ready and waiting. Can't decide, though, whether this or the k390 mule should get the most beautiful ...

I would think a 'sandwiched' super blue would give you better corrosion resistance. If that's an issue where you are.

You got a multi-tool now: a knife with a screwdriver tip. :D

Nicely done, by the way, with the Damascus.

I've been reporting fakes to ebay for years; and have yet to see them move against any of them. I keep doing it, though. Reported one just last night. Nothing happened.

And that seller's 'disclosure' is pure BS.

Thanks. I didn't actually realize that. They are darn near identical. The good news is; I got my Cruwear Millie today. So now I can go mess with it.

Thanks, Jabba, for the info, and for going to the trouble to find and post it--and for the exceptionally good news. CTS has been making some awesome steels lately. PD-1 is one that I really want to mess with. Strider is the only maker I know of that is using it now. Maxamet I am really exited over ...

I got at least one of every mule, and love every one. I want a Mule in every kick *** powder steel there is. I don't care if it's been used in other knives. I love the whole mule concept and am a junky when it comes to exotic steel. I love the side to side comparisons, and the creativity people can ...

Now we are talking the same language. I was just speaking to the "Military" logo and omitting the bug on the blade. This in addition to a new/retro steel would blow my mind and if possibly the old style blocky jimping would show up I don't think I would be able to contain myself. Along the same ...

I'm sorry. Those aren't "stock" photos of the COS Mule. He's either too lazy to take some photos of a hugely expensive knife, or he's scamming someone. Either way, I'd pass.

TedP

Actually, I'm not lazy. I have two jobs: a farmer and a contractor. I just don't have a lot of spare 'knife' time, so ...
