Re: Any chance of sprint run Standard?

If memory serves, the Standard and the Delica are pretty much the same. The Standard was a wee bit shorter in the handle, while the Delica fits most hands. The Delica has much better steel but the blade design was the same. You can get a current Delica with the saber ground blade of the Standard and ...

O no! Well, I would always go for something else, say Cruwear, 110V, 204P...as long as I get my blue G10.

Re: Weighty Matters, and Michael and the Three Spyders

Thank you Sal. This is what many of us feel. It is nice to have the humongous gargantuan titan of a knife to play with, but when it comes to carry, a smaller knife is more useful all around and more friendly in the pocket. (I am still waiting for Manbug stretched out to a 2.5 inch blade---the ...

Any word on the blue G10 Delica?

Has anyone heard when we can expect the arrival of the blue G10 Delica? This is my most anticipated knife. I am getting one of the KW exclusives, but I most want this blue G10 Delica.

Re: More than one shade of blue Delica C11FPBL !?

The blue FRN Delica is my next purchase and one is in my cart, now. That is, unless Sal gets around to releasing the promised and much anticipated blue G10 version. What I have noticed with Spyderco's FRN, in all colors, is that they just do not photograph very well. Benchmades are pretty close, but ...

Re: New guy

Welcome to the forum. You will find some nice folks, here. Looks like, besides the DF, you have all your most important Spydercos covered. Well, perhaps you need an Endura, too.

Re: Endura Stainless vs Police Model: Main Differences?

I asked that same question on this forum (I think) a year or two ago. The consensus was that the Endura was more robust and better for all around use. I bought an Endura rather than the Police I was looking at and was very happy with that choice.

Re:

To be honest, the only Manix that would interest me at all would be a new midlock version with the grip area of the handle redesigned to be like either the Sage/Chaparral/Caly profile or the Stretch/Rescue/Mule Team profile. To me, that extra "finger divider" which the the handles of the Manix ...

Re: How Good is the Manix 2 XL?

Thanks everyone. There is some good feedback, here. The knife is certainly cheaper than a Millie, which was leaning towards. It is about the same weight as a Titanium Military but over an ounce heaver than a standard Military.

Re: How Good is the Manix 2 XL?

Thanks guys. I was looking at buying one of these or a Military. I really like the Military, as well as the PM2. But, I thought I would look at something different and cheaper (than the Military). I saw some videos where people used the Manix 2 XL hard, some it did well, and one it did not. But, I ...

How Good is the Manix 2 XL?

Hi Folks, can any of you who actually own and have used the Manix 2 XL tell me how good it is and how durable it is? I have seen some claim blade wobble after a bit of use. But, I do not have this knife and was considering getting one. Also, how comfortable is it to use?

Thanks

Seriously, he is going to go wild. That is a wonderful gift for graduation. It is something he can treasure.

I really like the looks of the two blue versions. Very nice. Just what the knife needed.
