Thanks for all your input guys. At this point, I'm leaning towards the Lil Temperance since the new knife is going to be for EDC. I really like the Chinook though - but its blade length could have legal implications at where I'm currently at. Plus i do think that the Lil temperance would appear less ...

Which spydie next?

Alright ladies and gentlemen,

It's decision time. I'm in the throes of a dilemma here - Gunting, Chinook, bob Lum or Lil' Temperance? I like them all, but can only afford to acquire them one at a time. Dadgummit. So, folks out there who possess all of these knives (I hate you! <img src="smile.gif ...

Lil Temperance with CPMS30V

Dear all,

I was wondering if I were to order a Lil Temperance (spear point!) now, perhaps from Linda, would I get one with the new CPMS30V steel or would it be CPM440?

Here's a Spyderco Ad, just because Simona issued a clarion call for us boys to join in the fun. Actually had some other ideas that played off of the SpyderHoles, but since i don't have a digital camera, I copied the image off of the main site. Can anyone take a macro shot of the SpyderHole of an ...

Just wondering, have you been to Ibiza? They've got incredible clubs there, playing remixed versions of Orbital, Cafe Del Mar - Ibiza trance anthems in general.

Very nice work Simona! I didn't know that the good Doctor wielded a Spyderco. I think that pretty soon, you'll have a knife coming your way if you keep this up, .

Is there a time frame for the availability of the ATR. I would like to work the purchase into my spydie acquisition plan, if you get my meaning, .

Hey, Mike! That's a great site - excellent information. And thanks for your advice on the Massad Ayoob - I just got it yesterday and am still in awe of it, heh. Anyway, I've got the newer matte finished model - still a little slippery, in my opinion, so will probably be looking to "griperize" it.

Being a first time owner of a "real" knife of any sort, much less a folder, how do you lube the knife? Do i just apply, for example, militec on the joints and pivots, do i oil the entire blade, is lubing different for long term care and protection than for EDC? Just a couple of questions from a ...

A Spyderco and forum newbie I am - with just one PE Massad Ayoob to my name (more to come I hope). Other than that, working towards a PhD in information systems, because I got totally bombed during the dot com era, and realize that my skills and abilities were just not good for anything else except ...

Dear all,

I'm a newcomer to these boards and first time knife purchaser - and guess what, my Massad Ayoob just arrived today! My jaw literally dropped to the floor when i opened the box. All I can say is, the folks at Spyderco are incredible! The quality! The finishing! The edge! The reassuring ...

Training specifically for the Massad Ayoob

Dear all,

First off, I'm a totally new to this forum (having lurked around for a bit), and to knives in general, so I just wanted to say hello to everyone.

Second, I just wanted to tell everyone that I've finally done it - I ordered a Massad Ayoob and am waiting in great anticipation for it to ...
