Of the Spydercos I own, the Junior is probably one of the easiest to make your own scales for. No milling for nested liners or other fiddly bits, it is pretty basic stuff with a drill and a dremmel. Thank you very much! That's what I needed to decide between the Calys.

I guess I'm gonna get a Caly 3.5 CF ZDP. Pretty much same handle size and a substantially longer blade.

Hi Alan,

Welcome to the Spyderco forum.

We've been discussing a Kopa sprint. The maker that made the Kopa's doesn't have the confidece to work with all of the exotic materials so we're trying to find something nice that they can work with.

I believe the Lava sprint is in-the-works.

I'd love to have any of those in carbon fiber scales and some special steel blade.

I wouldn't mind a sprint Lava either. :D
