In my opinion GB is perfect. I don't really like both short blades and 154CM. If I chose an other steel for GB I would choose M390.

I carry the more expensive knives in a special hand made canvas case in my pocket. This way they are protected.

In my experience Endura is more comfortable if you often use the knife to prepare any food. However, most of the time the task is open a box or open a packing of any products. Collecting is great but in my opinion it's a bit useless if you don't use the knives. I have a couple of Spyderco knives and I really like using them.

I share your point of view. Let's face it. A Spyderco knife is beautiful for us because we are used to its shape. Hoewer, this shape can be strange at first.

I've got a Spyderco Tenacious from my wife. Despite she doesn't like knives she's bought it for me.

I bought an Endura ZDP189 FFG folder yesterday. Fact, it has a little vertical play like my Endura 3. Despite it is confusing me a bit but I don't care.
