If you have to ask yourself whether or not you can afford a Sebenza (or anything, for that matter, that you want ... but don't absolutely need), the answer is probably no. Whether or not a Sebenza is worth the price ... that is as debatable as asking whether anything is worth a particular price ...

DPS .... degrees per side. In this case, I go 20 on the LionSpy ... actually removed the convex edge. While you can keep the convex edge with the WE .... it is so much more time consuming. (Truth be told, just using the WE to get an even, mirror edge is not a quick procedure!!!!)

Keep mine at 20 DPS. Mounted in WE at A.75 / 2.

Have one (and three SR-1s). Love the all. Biggest difference (aside from the Spydie hole, scales, and blade steel) is the fact that the lock-bar on the Lionspy is thicker than on the SR series. You will need to exert more thumb pressure to disengage the lock. I did a write up some time ago here ...
