Yes, originally I was going after production knife manufacturers...( if we get into customs that opens up a whole new world) Some interesting items brought up here and a couple new steels and mnufacturers for me to look at....Thanks.

I ordered the Howard Viele, VG-10, Micarta Handle....It looks pretty neat and I like the properties of the Steel but I will be VERY impressed if the action even comes near to my BM Ares Axis Lock. Those Axis Locks are the best. But I'm staying objective until it comes and I get to try it out....I ...

What do you all consider the top 3 Knife steels used for blades? Based on Strength, edge retention, durability. Also who do you name as the top 5 knife manufacturers?
