IMHO, this looks better without the partial serrations and the black coating. But I wonder about the hollow grind. I’m looking for a flexible fillet type knife. FFG would be more flexible and probably make a better fillet knife. But then the picture shows the thick spine ending well before the tip ...

I'm all for the colors. Variety is nice! High visibility colors are useful in situations where the knife could otherwise be easily lost. Color personalizes the knife for those who like that. I can give my wife the same blade that I have and we can still tell them apart. What could be nicer than his ...

Spyderco Caspian2 Salt
I see that the Spyderco Caspian2 Salt ~ FB22BK is out of stock at Spyderco and I don’t see it on any third party sites. I see some pointed tip Caspian Salts out there, but I prefer the blunt tip for diving. Has the Caspian2 been discontinued or will we see some back in stock sometime?

Spyderco Bushcraft blade hardness
The Spyderco Bushcraft is made of O-1 tool steel. What do you expect the hardness and edge retention to be like? Especially as compared to ZPP-189, VG-10, etc?

Personally i have carried a knife for at least 10 years. I've never had any real problems. As long as you don't do anything stupid, carry them in stupid places, use them in a bad location (overtly in a crowd for example), and most importantly obey the knife laws in your location you should be fine ...

Ultra Fine stone, Extra-Extra Fine stone, or Strop?
After years of using 6 inch DMT stones (as well as other stones) I have decided to upgrade to the 10 inch DuoSharp Bench Stones. I just want the bigger stones. They are two sided, so I’m getting the Extra Coarse/Coarse stone and the Fine/Extra Fine stone. That should cover grits of 60 micron/220 ...

Dragonfly Money Clip
I want to use a Dragonfly2 Lightweight ZDP-189 as a money clip. I know that people do this, but how adjustable is the clip? I would like to carry 5 “cards” including credit cards, license, etc plus some cash. Can the clip expand enough to do that?
Thanks for the input, because I'll have to order ...

Spyderco as a money clip
I like the idea of using a Spyderco Dragonfly2 FRN ZDP-189 as a money clip. So has anyone done this? If so, how has the Dragonfly (or other Spyderco with a wire clip) held up? The problem with money clips is that they inevitably wear out; especially when you constantly change the thickness of what ...
