Re: First Spyderco?
My first Spyderco was a black FRN Native in S30V. I ghosted the forums starting sometime in 2007 and mentally compiled all the opinions of all the threads that I scoured to choose the singular best knife I could as I was on a very limited budget, coupled with the awareness that i didn’t have any ...

Re: 2025 Forum Calendar Winners!
Woooooo!! WoooooOooooh!!! WoOoOoOoOo-ok, coughcough, gettin’ it together. Ahem…heehee…Possibly disproportionately excited, arms worn out from air punching and mime screaming (discovered the results into the wee hours) I am over the MOON to have made the cut for the 2025 calendar!! I love that this ...

Re: 2025 Forum Calendar Contest!
Standing out is a question of context; what blends in to one environment stands out in another. Spyderco creates tools to fit into every situation and accommodate every taste. The pink Para 3 is the perfect tool when you need to go #glamouflage.

Re: Ladybug lock doesn’t sound strong
They don't all sound the same. I have several Native 5 LWs and the sound varies on those too. I don't worry about how they sound as long as there's no lint or anything preventing them from working properly. Do they lock up solid? If yes move on with life
I've sold perfectly functional ...

Re: Price increases for 2024
I've slowed down a lot as well, and have drastically thinned out my collection. I very rarely buy run of the mill production models anymore (although I just ordered an Emerson Dragonfly with the intention of adding Flytanium titanium scales) because they mostly bore me. I want something that's ...

Re: What Spyderco is in your pocket today??
Finally picked up a shaman yesterday and am carrying it for the first time today. It happens to coincide with National Indigenous Peoples Day here in Canada, which is considerably more important than what toy I'm playing with. Still not sure how I feel about the Native series' nomenclature, but ...

Chisel Grind (Right Handed)
Ok, so what do y’all think of an A) chisel grind option and B) of it favouring right handed bias, meaning the bevels would be on the “show” side (thanks The Internet for creating a “show side”
)

Re: which models would you like in a smaller version?
Hundred Pacer and Native Chief.
Alternately, a no frills Sage 4 backlock in FRN would fill the gap between the Native 5 and Native Chief.
Wow, yes! So, like a 50 pacer…though that suggests a more powerful venom and therefore an increase in magnitude, so maybe actually a 200 pacer?
The ...
