Awesome. A buddy of mine has one in the box that he is letting go cheap, but I wasn't sure about the Gin-1. Thanks for the info.

Is this a real UKPK?

Does anyone know if The UKPK was ever made with a Gin-1 Blade? The model # is c94psgy. Thanks for any input.

I try to keep up a variety in my EDC rotation, but typically for my off hand I go with my trusty old SE Dragonfly. I usually try to keep my offhand (backup) knife serrated since my primary is usually plain or combo edge. Ofcourse that's all in addition to an IWB holster with a Glock or Smith ...

Anybody seen this before??

I've never seen this one before. What really caught my attention was the spyderco logo on the blade next to the byrd style opening hole. I also took notice that the blade says 154cm but the description says 420j2. Has anybody seen this before? It is kinda neat lookin.

It would seem to me that these great knives are made to take a certain amount of abuse. My EDC is either a plain or combo edge Endura 4 with Emerson opener. Now I don't constantly use the opener, but I'd say it's about 50/50 opener/thumbing. I would imagine using the opener is about the same as ...

Found one on Ebay

I've learned a little since the last time I thought I found a fake. This one I'm positive is a fake.

Thanks Creepo for the SpydieWiki tip. It's really helpful with the older models.

Thanks Gunslinger, after a quick online search I found a few pictures that matched the renegade name. I did try and check for it on the spyderco.com website catalog, but couldn't find it anywhere. Figured I'd check before I considered bidding on it. Would make a good glove box knife. We'll see if I ...

New here, but this one looks unusual.

I only own 3 Spyderco knives myself (so far) but this one seems a bit odd to me. The location of the pocket clip just doesn't seem right and a quick search through the catalog doesn't show anything that even looks like this under the Gin-1 blade steels. Also the blade design itself seems a little ...
