Does anyone know if The UKPK was ever made with a Gin-1 Blade? The model # is c94psgy. Thanks for any input.

The FRN UKPK was originally released with GIN-1 steel with the intent to switch to BD1 in the future. I believe that the BD1 versions are just now showing up.

I have a UKPK rescue with Gin 1 steel. I am pretty sure Gin 1 was a common steel for UKPKs for awhile. Some else might know more

Awesome. A buddy of mine has one in the box that he is letting go cheap, but I wasn't sure about the Gin-1. Thanks for the info.

Those have FRN handles and are generally cheap everywhere that carries them. Try it before you buy it, you might not like the weak spring action.
