Wow... I leave for a few hours to watch the movie "Inception" and this thread accelerates its implosion. Inception was a great movie by the way... I highly recommend it. But, I guess that comment should be in the off-topic discussion section. But at this point, who really cares?

Inception was a ...

Spyderco Paramilitary 2 Great edc!

I'm really happy with the job this knife does for edc purposes, although the blade could have been longer and a compression lock would be an interesting alternative :D

Here you are, calling me a fanboy while you're on your knees in front of the spyderco president (you can take that one of two ways). I find that ironic.

Man you need to be more careful. A lot of people operate on multiple forums. You offer to trade me the Para 2 and then I see all this. I don't really know what to do. I'd like to take the knife from you but I don't like to deal with people who talk on the forum like this, especially with your ...

O-well, this thread hasnt much time to live anyway.
Sal never puts down other knife Co's.
He is way more positive than most of us.

Here is an idea, send it back! And get a refund!

Nothing personal, but if the "cool" factor of an item outweighs its usability and safety then your priorities are in need of adjustment. And you never answered my pertinent questions in the earlier portion of this thread.

Snowcrash is entitled to his opinions but it becomes a problem when he defies all logic and says random nonsense like the para 2 should cost $50. Thats straight up stupid. Enjoy your extremely high value $150 940 with tacky aluminum scales and silly reverse tanto grind with inferior ht s30v blade ...

I got all excited, finding a CF Police on ebay at work a few days ago, and my coworkers were all staring at me as I glued my eyes to the monitor and talked to it while waiting out the last 40 minutes of the auction. I ended up losing =( The price went from $130 to $260. I could have spent that much ...

I live in Orange County, too, and I haven't had any problems with rust on my Kershaw composite blade Leek, without using oil. It's pretty dry here so as long as you wipe it after using it on something wet, it should be fine.

I'll be moving to Texas, which is known for its high humidity, which is ...

How much care does D2 steel require?

Since it's not a stainless steel I assume you have to oil it weekly?

I would say that yes, I would buy this knife for $50. For $100? It's iffy, maybe I would if I didn't already have it in my hands. For $150? No, and I really shouldn't have pulled the trigger without the usual amount of extensive research I do before I buy something.

It's a good blade, like I said ...

I guess the whole reason I'm not so into the para is for the amount of solid blade and construction i got from the police 3 g10, and the ffg endura- I probably just took a risk with a smaller knife, knowing I'm into the bigger folders, and was disappointed in the end. I'll should just stick to ...
