This message is for Jay-Ev,
There is no solicitation going on here. I am relatively new to the knife world and am simply asking my fellow Spyderco fans for advice on where I could find a Spyderco knife. No where in my message did I ask anyone on this forum to sell me a knife! There is nothing wrong ...

Searching for a Starmate
I am having trouble locating a Starmate or even coming to a conclusion on what a fair price to pay for such a knife would be. I realize that they haven't been in production for close to 7-10 years (I believe), which leads me to believe that they might cost a pretty penny.

Yeah, that is unfortunate. Glad to hear it is healing properly. I actually cut myself last week. No where near as severely, however. The SOG Aegis Tanto I purchased as a gift for my brother's birthday had shown up. I was playing with the assisted opener.... while surfing porn on my laptop, hahaha ...

I have approximately 20 Spydies and my favourite would have to be......
CF Military S90V.... to admire and pet. It is a very sexy knife!
D2 Paramilitary.... to actually use. It is big enough to handle everything I would ever want to do and small and light enough that it is a practical EDC. BEST BUY ...

Hahahahaha! Don't worry about it, it wasn't your fault at all. I kept getting messages inquiring about shipping to Germany, which is also why I opened it up. I just didn't think it would cost so much. If I stated it costed like $60 no one from NA would have bought it. I just couldn't figure out how ...

Yeah, I just recently sold my Blue Manix on ebay. It was my fist time selling on ebay and I got a tip about posting shipping costs. I want to say it was from BigBrad75 (if that is his same user name on ebay... well sounds very familiar anyway. In case it is you I am mjjt82 on ebay). So as advised I ...

CF Manix S90V Pricing Inquiry
Well I am back with another pricing question already. I am not currently but will be in the market for a CF Manix S90V in about a month. I have to grab a few Militaries first... haha! So for now this is purely researched based.

Thank you everyone for the advice. I already made a "verbal" agreement with a guy that found me on another forum to purchase his Military S90V next month for $250 Canadian shipped. I think that is a pretty fair deal. Then this one I am having problems getting an accurate description for showed up on ...

Yeah, the CF appears to be black. It is much darker than the generic CF I see on the other Militaries. I was just worried it was a product of insufficient lighting conditions and no flash was used when the pictures were taken. I just don't want to buy two of the same knife because this guy can't ...

No the Starmate is legit. It is the S90V Satin finish bladed Military with the black carbon fiber I was concerned about. I have just never heard of black carbon fiber on Militaries. All the ones I have ever seen have a grayish charcoal appearance.

Starmate Pricing Advice
I know that this knife has been out of production since 2001 and that they are aggressively sought after and come up for sale rarely.
However, I was wondering what a fair price to pay for a NIB Spyderco Terzuola Starmate C55GPS would be. They originally retailed for approximately $155.00 US.
