Agreed -- Spydie, how do you achieve this really nice finish?

For my part, the Brouwer is more like a Strider PT with a round Spydie hole and at half the price.

My Brouwer just arrived and already it's one of my favorite folders.

I interviewed him several times. He was an honest and forthright gentleman. He will be missed.

I've been looking forward to the Brouwer.
The dealer specs don't give blade size yet.
The price is higher than I had hoped and I'm not sure I'll be able to warm up to that forest green scale.
That said, I'm still looking forward to seeing and, hopefully, owning this.

How would anyone know at this date whether a forthcoming model has a carbonized lockface or not?

I agree about the need for an improved replacement bearing -- I wish we could get an answer from Spydie.

No offense to Spydie, but I am hoping to find better replacement bearings than what I already have in the Southard and their other flippers.

Does anyone have access to better replacement bearings for the Southard or other flippers?

I corresponded with someone on the forum about this months ago but, sadly, have lost track of the gentleman.

This review says the FRN Chap has chamfered edges. I have two CF Chaps (the S30V and the XHP; love these CF Chaps.) Neither of mine is chamfereed as far as I can tell. Are yours? Let me explain further -- I have a Sage 5 that I like. And a standard Para 3 that I like, in part because of the wonderfully grippy G-10 scales. I saw a review on YT that went on and on about how wonderful the CF was on his CF Para 3. This made me wonder how the CF on the Para 3 compares with the CF...
