So I am completely agree. I mean seriously, the jerk had a mini knife fight with my strider and his crkt. EDGE ...

I had bought one for my girlfriend, but our course she wasn't digging it so I sold it.

Bringing this one back from the grave to see if anyone else has since encountered this problem. Will be shipping mine to spyderco tomorrow, and have already scored a replacement...but still curious if anyone else has had this problem.

I recently noticed that the screws on my zdp chinese folder had come loose, so I tried tightening them but they just spun around as if the threads had stripped.

I took out the screws and put them in from the opposite side to make sure everything was kosher, and sure enough nothing is stripped.

I just got my first spydie (well for my girlfriend) a spyderhawk H1. I think the it's a pretty good self defense knife for a woman. Did the zip tie trick on it and it rocks, you can open it in both grips just like an emerson karambit ....but then again it does look ugly.
