I just received my Khukuri and it is simply marked "Japan". I guess it doesn't really matter, but I was just curious. ;)

Made in Japan? Seki-City Japan?

I'm new to the forum here, but not new to buying Spyderco's. I have been buying Spyderco's for years and I have several models. I noticed that some of my newer models are simply marked "Japan" and not "Seki-City Japan" like I'm used to. Are the new knives no longer made in Seki-City?

I have an old FRN Delica that I bought at a yardsale for $1 that gets most of my knife abuse around the house. :D I'm thinking of sending it to Tom Krein to regrind so it will have a new lease on life.

I have a 2nd smaller Spyderco with me because I've started carrying custom knives and no one wants to hand thier buddy a 400 dollar knife to cut his anything with. I saw a freinds knife get loaned and used as a screwdriver by a non knife nut. He was :mad:
