Re: Upland game/Small game knife

Mini Jess Horn would work well for field dressing small game.

(Edit: If you travel in style. Otherwise, Man Bug, Dragon Fly, Delica, etc....)

Re: Opinions Wanted: Top 5 Best Spydercos

1) Autonomy 2 ( I own 2)
2) Mini Jess Horn (I own 3)
3) Yojimbo 2 (I own several. I like the G10 better than the peel ply CF S90 V functionally)
4) Ronin 1 (I own many and they are the perfect fixed MBC knife IMO)

Re: Is there support for an LC200N Street Beat?

The Spyderco Street Beat fixed blade is small at a 3.5 inch blade, but it would suffice. It has a great handle for holding on to when wet. Looking for something 3.5 to 4.5 inches in LC200N. The Spyderco WaterWay does not have a grip that looks very good for someone in the shower with a head or hand...

Re: Manix 2 XL Love?

It's a really great knife. It fills the hand and has the cutting power you want from a big folder. That said, it rides clipped in the pocket as unobtrusive any other folder.

Too bad the scales are blue. If they were green I would be all in.

Spyderco Ronin 1

I think I have 5 of them, but if there was a sprint run I would buy a few more. It would be great to have one as a user.

They're going for big bucks on EBay when you can find one.

G-10 and LC200N? ****.

Re: Baby Jess Horn

Just look at the pocket clip in the OP. That tells the story. It seems like a perfect gentleman's knife. cleaning nails, cut a thread, cut a tag off a T-shirt, why not have scalpel to assist your larger blade? This is a really cool little knife and it can be tucked away unobtrusively. It isn't going...

Re: Baby Jess Horn

I just received my Baby Jess Horn after reading this thread. I love it. I carried the original with black shiny scales 25 years ago. I still have it... somewhere in my gun safe... Anyway I''m torn between leaving the clip on or taking it off the baby and carrying loose in my pocket. **** this is a f...

Went rafting a couple weeks ago. I brought my Autonomy 1. I didn't use it, but it seemed like the right thing to do.

Re: DLC Who does it best? Spyderco? Coldsteel? Others?

Today an auto search on eBay for CTS XHP brought up Cold Steel Knives and they are calling there black coating DLC. Is it? I know Spyderco’s is food safe as are there titanium Nitride coating but stuff like cerekote is not. Is not DLC a Spyderco proprietary process? Does Spyderco have a separate co...
