I have not made it a user but I expect it to wear reasonably well; I don't think it will be as good as factory finish though.

The recent thread on getting knives "Up Armored" reminded me of this and I wish to share. I had this done by Thermoarms.com last year and owe him some pictures to post up.

IMO one of the better features of these types of lock is that you can push down on it and flick it open. It's one of the reasons I cannot wait for the new sage!

I know there are metal detectors on the ship when you board back. Did you place it in a back pack or something? Did they take it out when they saw it?
