Incremental erosion of your liberty sucks! It's the ordinary men (and women) that need to fight this. At the very least they should reimburse you for the loss or give you the option to mail it to someone else or return to the dealer that shipped it; especially when you did not try to mask the item e...

Yeah, I was hoping Sal & crew would consider it though, since there seems to be a demand for orange. Seems like there is some serious interest in these FRN UKPK knives as a 2010/11 Spyderco Forum knife, perhaps we'll see an orange handled PE drop point for that (some flat grinding would be nice...

Are there plans to release the orange with the other blades? It seems many people (including myself) are planning to do a blade swap for the orange FRN. I don't believe they are planning to release the orange handle with the other blade configs. It doesn't show up in UKPK searches but do a search o...

I've got an orange rescue and blue PE drop-point OTW, will swapping the blades between these two void their warranties if I later wish to send them in for sharpening? Before the "swap them back" crowd chimes in, let me clarify further that I might sell one and keep one in their swapped con...

The Cricket is a knife that had that effect with me. It just looked weird to me and I never paid it much attention, but after reading through the forums and always reading positive comments I decided to pick one up. It's hard to grasp in print, and even in pictures, how thin it really is. It's clean...

For manufacturers here in Oregon, Gerber is in Tigard/Tualitin (South and West of downtown Portland about 15 miles) and I think Leatherman is in Industrial Portland (might be by the airport). Not sure if they have a visitor center / showroom, but those are two possibilities to call and ask. As for d...

Original FRN SE Dragonfly has been my EDC for sixteen years. Bought it in Ketchikan, Alaska on a family cruise. Visiting from California, I was very proud of the fact I purchased it tax-free. It's held up extremely well over the years and only a month or two ago did I finally send it in to W&R f...

100% usable to somebody. I'd say if you're not up to the task of regrinding then selling them might be worthwhile, might be able to get a new knife out of it. If you regrind, maybe go extreme with the delica and regrind it with a harpy/tasman shape for rope/tubing/hose cutting duty (boat/car/yard). ...

jabba359, thanks for the updated list. I believe TK also mentioned it was bigger than a ladybug. Possibilities based on current models with FRN and limited to criteria in the list: -Rescue -Assist -Delica -Endura -Dragonfly -Stretch -Native (still ? if they would repeat as this model has been done b...

Since the forum knives in the past include 2 versions of the native (one for BladeForums and one here), how likely is a three-peat? I'm thinking with so many great models currently in the lineup why choose a previously selected one? Not that I'd be disappointed with a Native. Oops, just re-read all ...

The Meerkat had a low-ride wire clip whereas the Nav II had a "regular" steel clip secured with three screws. So the clips would not be interchangable. Yes, I've got a Meerkat in front of me. They are different clip designs but their 3-screw clip mounts are similar enough that if a factor...

One thing I noticed is the navigator II is indentical, or nearly so, to the meerkat. It may be scaled up or down in size and the hole pattern for the clip may be different, but there is a chance that clip could work if they no longer have the Meerkat wire version. Worth mentioning in a letter if you...

I've been carrying a dragonfly daily for nearly 15 years. A few weeks back I decided to removed the plastic clip, but I haven't gone so far as to fashion a clip for it. Mine has always been a loose pocket knife and I don't believe I've ever used the clip. I like the knife better with the clip remove...
