Wrightknife, thanks for the summary, this pic is my first ever Spydie - bought new at the end of the 80's. The blade's marked as G2 stainless and "Seki City Japan" on the reverse but is one of those you describe which is not engraved with the "Police" name. I'd always wondered about their origins ...

I don't know if they're still sold this way, but in 1982 (yes that's eighty two) I picked up one of these small tritium filled vials that I guess are now used in glowrings. A slim glass cylinder about 1 inch long and maybe 1/10th diameter they were sold to anglers for freshwater fishing at night ...

Just one for me - CF serrated from the special edition in 2000. Strictly a collectors item but with a liking for high quality edge tools, one which I couldn't resist.

Feverishly awaiting numbers 65 and 70 by international freight.

Haven't checked this thread for a few weeks.
I would love to have a forum knife but neither the centofante model or pearl scales work for me.
