The opinion of the current knife also seems to hinge on the size of peoples hands. People with small/medium size hands like mine seem to find the grip on the Lum secure enough; but for people with larger hands the design does not fit as well.

I love my Lum in ZDP-189 and it feels like I am ...

I believe the next Lum Chinese folder will be a very special carbon fiber.

sal

A classic casual bombshell, I am looking forward to that one. I love carbon fiber as a handle material and think it would be a great match for the classy Lum Chinese. It would also retain the lightweight feel of the ...

I am a huge fan of the Chinese Lum and believe it to be the best Spyderco collaboration model ever, yet I agree that the foilage green is not my preference. I had both a black and foilage green Lum but now only have the black

The coated blade though ruins one of the great things of the Lum, the ...

Hi Dd,

The Caly3, while popular with some afi's, it seems to be too sophisticated for the general market where the higher volume sales are found.

sal

Seems like the same issue with the Caly Jr lightweight unfortunately.

It is really too bad because Sal's Calypso designs are some of my favorite ...

The description said it has a carbon fiber backspacer as well as handle! I think that will be nice having the backspacer match the handles.

Imagine a ZDP-189 Centofante 4  . That would slice like nobody's business!

Other than that the Calypso in ZDP sounds amazing

I did understand from the Spydercrew that the Leafstorm has a bushing system. I did tweak the pivot and from my experience I can verify that no matter how hard you twist the pivot, the action remained smooth.

Wouter

Thanks for confirming. It definitely sounds like it does have a bushing pivot ...

I am still trying to warm up to the slip-its, but this Terzuola makes it easy. Looks great and would be a nice edc for the office and when out socially. I am huge CF fan and have always liked Terzuola designs.

Can't wait for it to come out.

Paramilitary

My dirty little Spyderco secret and one that even confuses me is that I just cannot warm up to the Paramilitary. I love the Military and think it is one of the best folding knife designs and execution among production folders; but despite my best efforts I just cannot like the Parmilitary.

I hate ...

Just ordered one up, the first time I have ever bought a back-up for a knife I already own. I love my Black Lum and carry it all the time and do not want to be without one again.
