Re: Best Plain Edged Spyders?

Hello to All,

For me, for EDC, it would be my G10/S30V UKPK. I have EDC'd it ever since the model was released, and have found it to be a superb knife.

I would also list the Caly3, but in the UK, we cannot EDC a locking knife :(

Have fun :)

Best regards

Hello to All,

I really don't know if there is something about knives sold in the UK :(

Of these 35, two (2) came with a ...

Hello to All,

The scales are maroon micarta.

I needed a no-nonsense tough working blade, and this knife has certainly ...

**** to All,

I convexed the blade on my Alox SAK (mouse pad + carbide abrasive paper) : I then use the 40 degree slots on the Sharpmaker to put the working edge on.

As has been pointed out in previous posts, the edge holding on these SAKs is not stellar, but with the Sharpmaker it, is a doddle to ...

Hello to All,

For all my Spyderco folders, I squirt in a few drops of Sentry Solutions TufGlide, let the solvent evaporate, then put in a small amount of Sentry Solutions Hi-Slip grease.

Works a treat :)

I have wondered about the use of dry-lubes that are for use on bicycle chains (e.g. Finish ...

Hi,

In the UK small is definitely beautiful for EDC :)

Even the Ladybug is a no-no because of the lock !

I EDC an orange UKPK and couldn't wish for a better knife; a real classic !

best regards
