Welcome to the forum!

I think S90V is supposed to have waaaay higher edge holding ability than even ZDP-189 or D2. It's also supposed to be good in corrosion resistance.

A user on Bladeforums uses his S90V Millie to cut drywall all day, and at the end of the day, it's still shaving sharp.

Hmm, why would that be? Like I said, my Delica has it. Why wouldn't an Endura? And I don't see why a G10, flat ground version should be any different.

Hmm... I could have sworn the burr was gone. Running my thumb parallel to the bevels, there were no rough spots. This is with the Sharpmaker, btw, and I redid my angle from 30º to 40º (so it should have kinda "started a new edge" right from the edge itself instead of the shoulders, right?)...

ZDP-189 vs. VG-10 Edge-holding?

So, how much better at edge-holding is ZDP than VG-10? Let's say... Well with my VG-10 Delica, I can get it shaving-sharp, but when I cut a poptarts box, it won't shave anymore and it won't catch my nail very easily anymore. If I cut a poptarts box (or a bigger box, for that matter), will I be able ...

I have the Delica, and it's my favorite knife. FRN seems cheap in pictures. I thought the same thing until I saw it in person. This is tough stuff.

I stripped a torx screw on my Delica (actually I just did a few more, but I haven't had to open the knife again so I'm waiting lol), and here's what I did: Customer service told me to buy the Delica Replacement Parts Kit, so I did. It included D-Bolts and Torx Screws (along with a whole lot of other...

There is mini Manix with a ball lock, and possibly S90V, in the works. Don't know about the metal backspacer, though. http://www.bladeforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=564430 Yeah, I'm waiting for it. Maybe you noticed I was the second poster in that thread ;) Doesn't the Mini Manix have a metal b...

I don't know. I can't seem to find a Spyderco knife that's absolutely perfect for me. I love certain aspects of certain knives, but there hasn't been one that has everything that I'm looking for in one single package (steel type, grind, needs that metal backspacer, needs to be a beefy/tough knife, s...

No, he's saying that the serrated Endura/Delica "Emerson" models are a greener color than the plain edge variants.
