Ive never been impressed with the CF patterns until now. I have an opportunity to buy a new Lum (blem) for $45, so I may pick that one up to test out the platform and then if I like it buy this CF model.

Ive never had a problem with my BM Axis locks, and I cant imagine having any problem with Spydercos BBLM. Frame locks, liner locks, axis locks, lock-backs etc. from a reputable company will rarely fail you.

My question to those that foresee using a folder like a fixed blade: why not use a small ...

Hey, Im glockfire.

I like that I never have to second guess my Spyderco's. I know they will always work.

I love that when I deployed in 09, Spyderco sent me 10 phone cards to call home with.

And my old Para doing what every knife should be doing, being used in the wild!

Ive been issued the Gerber 06 and BM AFO, both are autos. They are fun to play with, and have extremely fast blade deployment. But, the lock made deploying the blade slower than a normal spydiehole and certainly slower than a waved folder. They have their applications for people who may be in one ...

I just bought a midlength BCM upper myself. I figured to spend the extra money and be assured of quality and quality control rather than risk displeasure later on.

Very good choice, I sprung for the Cold hammer forged bbl, so the total with BCG and CH was about 6 bills. I am completely please ...

Ever consider a Delica?

I know it seems pretty common and perhaps low priced, but VG-10 is a great steel, the knife is in the size you mention, and the lock is very reliable IMO. I think too many people make the mistake of not trying one of these because the price is too low!!! (it is not a cheap ...

Ive rarely met a gun store or gun show guy that knew what he was talking about. I brought my BCM Midlength M4 in to get my FSB removed once, and the guy had the nerve to tell me that RRA or Bushmaster wouldve been better choices. I laughed, and then took my business elsewhere. I was not going to let ...

Thanks, guys! Any links to pics or more info of the Para you refer to? Want to make sure I'm looking at the right one. Thanks!

I was referring to the plain old Spyderco Paramilitary. Mine is a black blade, PE.

Bought a number 183 Para long ago for $63 on ebay, nothing wrong with it at all. That Para was later STOLEN from me by one of my instructors a few years ago. Funny, and yet not so funny.

OP, it seems as though I was in the same position as you. I wanted a knife smaller than my Millie as It really is too big for me. I was torn between the 755MPR and the Para, but ended up getting the Para because I believe it is a far better EDC knife than the 755. The Para is near the same blad ...
