Re: There is no need to ever take apart your knife to clean it
You need an ultrasonic cleaner, my tall friend. That WILL penetrate all the places that IPA misses. No Sh*t? I don't have any experience with one. Not gonna lie, it would be cool to not have to wrench. But I also learned some stuff digging inside my Salt. There is a raised portion on the outer semi...

boy the lil'native really toes the line
Ive had my new SE lil native for almost a week now and I can't help but be impressed with it. I originally bought it as a serrated back up to my primary (and usually PE) EDC. I wanted something small enough to feel comfortable in the back pocket without worry aboyt accidentally opening, or running m...

Re: Any interest in the return of models like the pingo?
"the Pingo was specifically designed to conform to the knife laws of Denmark, which prohibit both lock-blade folding knives and all forms of one-hand-opening knives." 🙄 seriously those law makers should be imprisoned for life for gross negligence and sheer stupidity. What an awful country ...

Re: Black blade for Para 2 left handed
A factory dlc, blacked-out left hand pm2 would be a personal grail. Sadly I think too many lefties are happy to adapt instead of buying up the satin lefty PM2s (& Millies) they made and demanding more. I agree if the PM2 and Millie lefties were always sold out that would be a possible catalyst ...

Okay I've made a promise to myself. I've put it off for far too long. No matter when or what, my next purchase WILL be salty. Not sure which yet, but definitely something salt.

Re: Mid-sized Native?
I own a native chief, native g10, and as of a few days ago, a lil native. Looking at all three side by, I can see a definite size gap that needs to be filled. Maybe "Native L"? Maybe ba 3.25-3.5" blade? Sounds perfect.

I dunno... I think the BBL makes the Manix unique and I like that.

Re: SALT Shaman, Thoughts?
I can't think of a single reason to NOT salt every model Yes and No. Making a Salt of every model is ok. But making multiple versions of Salts for every model so that production locks up and no new models get made no that is not okay. :thinking Nah, the crew at Golden can handle it, they're top not...

Re: On second thought, why not try something different.
Hey I'm glad my poll brought this about! Congrats on the new para! I absolutely love mine, even though I favor larger knives. I got the combo blade and it's really a great all around EDC. You're also right about it being a great fidget device and engineering masterpiece. This is kinda why I've been ...

Re: Hurricane Lee discussion
Lee has weakened to a cat3 (but is expected to reintensfy over the next couple of days) and new tracking puts it farther east after it turns north so good news for the east coast! Off course things can change, but it's still good news

Next native chief sprint run, I'm in. Unless it's a lightweight or something.Naperville wrote: ↑Fri Sep 08, 2023 6:56 pmI'm saving to buy two copies of every Native Chief ever released. So far I have one copy of each, and it just is not enough.

your "biggest fan" is a good dude and he's just trying to encourage you to spend time with each knife before jumping to the next. i'm sure he doesn't actually care what you get or what you want. Except he's not. He's never spoken a polite word to me, nor has he attempted to contact me pri...

Metal on metal will always wear, it's just a matter of how long it takes. The quality of steel used by Spyderco means your grandchildren probably won't have to worry about it.

Salty Marine. I like it. Reminds me of South Carolina in the summer.
