Re: Spyderco PITS Folder (Pie In The Sky)
Hey all,
I know updates are usually pretty quick once the info is out there, but just wondered if there was any news on this one.
Are we likely to see it in 2022 @Sal?

Re: Another HH Urban exclusive!
The longer blade was the perfect size. The shorter blade is sad.
I note that this is FRN instead of G10. This one is a lot more affordable. I might look into it if the F&F are good.

Mine’s arrived. Almost imperceptible wonk on the secondary grind & jimping. Spring strength is perfect for ...

Re: Urban size discussion
Hey guys! A Brit here!
I'll add my thoughts to this, which I often feel are overlooked by people who are very deep in the knife hobby.
But first.... Some background to my Slipit collection....
UKPK BD1 (original)
UKPK HH Edition
UKPK Salt - LC2000N

Re: UKPK Salt availability ?
Does anyone know when it’s likely to hit the European stores (specifically the plain edge)?
I saw Lamnia had a few, but no one else seems to have picked them up?

Re: UKPK Salt availability ?
Does anyone know if this is a limited run, or will it join the S110V and BD1N as regulars in the line up?

Re: My first Spyderco experience
You can find them for sale in the UK for between £63 and £70 usually - I also had some custom natural brown Micarta scales made for it.
HH is the only place I could find them in stock at £78.95. I have pre ordered a Lil Native slipit. The Lil Native and Native 5 are my favourite looking ...

Re: My first Spyderco experience
Firstly - S110V UKPK is a great choice. It's out of stock everywhere in the UK and Europe, which is why I'm guessing the order was made from Spyderco directly.
Hope you get it sorted quickly
Thank you, You guessed correctly. :)
Not that it helps in this situation, but after owning both ...

Re: My first Spyderco experience
I do know that if an individual ships International, it's quite a bit more difficult. I basically can't use any automation, I have to wait in line, I have to answer questions at the counter, and I have to pay maybe 5 times as much to ship.
It has been one week, I think a week to ship isn't ...

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
Although the blade profile is different, the jimping and finger choil finishing have the same appearance as the HH Urban (different to mine).
Very small differences, but strange on a mass produced product like this (well, not quite mass produced, but you know what I mean).

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
Man oh man! That is a huge difference! Both are pretty nasty. I'll try to get some comparison pictures of mine so what I am griping about will be seen. Yours are pretty sad, to be honest. There should be some consistency.
I’ve come to appreciate the one I kept (the one on the right) - My only ...

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
I seem to remember (correct me if I am mistaken) Sal saying something to the effect that the Urban was supposed to be under 2.5" for those locales with such restrictions, but the manufacturer messed up and was making the blades longer. Then he went on the discuss a knife called a Metropolitan, or ...

Re: What are the 4 numbers on the box?
Could it be the factory it came from?
It would make sense given that 2 of them had identical fit and finish (poor), but the different 4 digit number was perfect.

What are the 4 numbers on the box?
Hey guys,
I know the letters denote the month/year….
But I have 3 Urbans, all bought in the last 2 weeks, 2 of which have the same 4 numbers on the box (and are also a perfect blade match), the other has a different number with ever so slightly different characteristics to the Jimping and finger ...

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
Hey everyone,
I bought (with much anticipation), the HH Urban on the day of release. But, like others, found it a bit wanting in some areas.
For me (and I think a lot of this is to do with expectation at the price point)….
* G10 is pocket ripping coarse.
* S90V blade didn't feel very sharp at ...

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
I think this is going to come down to a certain amount of expectation and standards.
I’m pretty sure there are plenty of people out there who would find the knife I received today to be absolutely perfect.
The small issues I have are:
1. The edge was very poor. It’s fixable, but you don’t expect ...

Welcome to our forum.

Thanks Sal!

Hopefully getting one of these Urbans early this week (HH are usually pretty quick to ship), so I’m looking ...

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
How are you getting that price?
It shows as $166.75 for me.
I'm trying to decide if I want one or two of these. I think that $20 per unit will be the deciding factor.
If you just go through the shipping and checkout process it rings up as $147.44. That was the price to get it to ...

Re: Heinnie Haynes G10 S90v Urban
UK based here, and these are the sorts of knives you snap up before they are gone!
I was speaking to Richard from Heinnie a few weeks back, and he was explaining the monstrous delays with a lot of the orders (due to a range of issues).
So I fear that once this one is gone, it’ll be a long time ...
