Re: Nothing like finding a knife you lost.

If it would have been mine and would have been lucky enough to find it, I would have found it stuck in the sidewall of one of the load range E tires on my truck tire lol...

That is usually my luck as well.

Using the steel wool is really not such a good thing, it will leave steel residue from ...

Re: Nothing like finding a knife you lost.

That is great. It's a little rough but would be easy enough to clean up. You want help cleaning it up let me know, I can help with that, I got most every tool a person should have lol...

I took it apart and cleaned all the manure off it and dried it out. Cleaned the blade with WD-40 and some ...

Nothing like finding a knife you lost.

Finding anything you lost is a great feeling, but finding a knife, that you love, that you thought you lost is amazing.
I actually had this happen to me twice in a short amount of time.

The one I was upset about was the DLT exclusive, purple PM2 with uncoated CruWear blade. I ended up laying this ...

Re: National Knife Day GAW!

Out of the ones I own, I’d have to say PM2. I may like the Manix a little more in the hand but in the pocket PM2 takes up less room.
I need to try a Shaman and the Nirvana on the first page is sweet, but I’m too poor for one of those.

Thanks for this. I was hoping to buy from a vendor I had bought from before and St. Nicks is as good as any.

Re: Spyderco Online Factory Seconds Sale!

I was out and about with pretty poor service, and never got through to the website. I got back to the house around 2:00 and was able to pick up a lightweight Manix and a Native both in Maxamet. I didn't have a Native, and did not have a lightweight version of the Manix, I have no knives in Maxamet ...

Re: A guy can dream, right? Manix 2 XLT!

I don't have a Manix XL, but I do have a Manix 2 with the sabre/saber grind blade. It's the full thickness for 1/3-1/2 the blade and it feels like a totally different knife than the full flat ground exclusive I have. Less slicey but stronger, if that's a thing.

I hadn't checked the forum for a while and when I did today and saw this was available again, I nearly fell out of my chair. This is the one combination that I missed that I really wanting after I started chasing exclusives with their Manix version of this color combination. I almost purchased on ...

Those combos are tempting and if I had seen them before hand, I might have waited. Happy to get a Jester either way.

Re: New pm2 : loctite on a washer ?

I had a similar problem with loctite on the scales and was able to get most of it off. It took a while and I believe the most effective part of the process was physically removing the loctite with the xacto knife.

I'll add another vote for the Worksharp Precision. For the price and being dummy proof, I've been pretty happy with it. Sharpmaker still is great for touchups.

Re: SOFT clip screw in S90V Lil' Native

If they've put too much Loctite on them, that doesn't help the situation. I ended up turning mine into slotted screws with a Dremel.
