Re: Forum Exclusive Kickstarter

Back to the reality check on the Power Lock. And not to yuck anyone's yum... I will have to dig it up, but Sal has said the Power Lock was developed in house at G. Sakai. I think this may make it unlikely to see a Golden built model with a Power Lock, but I have no inside knowledge. Here is the quot...

Generally they seem more responsive to phone calls, from accounts that I've read.

Re: Chief with compression lock?

I'm not into yucking other folks' yum, but I like it how it is. For me making an existing linerless G10 Spyderco backlock design into a comp lock is most times going to be a downgrade. I like my full liner backlocks, but the linerless G10 backlocks are superb users and I'd hate to introduce liners. ...

Re: The WolfSpyder - any updates?

LC or CruWear would rock! Curious what all the updates include? Maybe steel, maybe something to do with the second detent ball?

Looking forward to the next release.

Thank you! Sometimes I feel like the Zaan could be the one to rule them all. Feel like I haven't seen you post yours in years! When you convinced me to grab mine :') I had put it aside to get a glass blast, but getting this one blasted clean started to feel like burning old photos lol. So I did wha...

Re: Will they ever have full Superblue again?

I'd love a super blue Stretch 2. There was an SB Stretch 1 that was laminated. I like both laminated and monometal blades.

IIRC the Moki made SB models were monometal blades and G. Sakai made SB models were mostly laminated. Please correct if I'm mistaken.

Re: Native 5 salt - magnacut or lc200n - help me pick

If you have loads of LC, I'd suggest to try the MagnaCut. I have a bunch of LC and a little MC. Both are great. If you're sharpening s30v to your satisfaction, then you will do well with MC with the same kit. Not sure why anyone is bringing K390 into the discussion? It's an awesome steel, but in a t...

My preferred is a hawkbill serrated. That list bit of the tip is still a plain edge, hawk bill makes all cutting effortless. Wish there was an hawkbill enduramodel
There was... the SpyderHawk. It was based on the endura 3 handle. It was discontinued long ago and sprinted more recently.
