Re: Third Party Handle Makers (please add website)

Except for that Halpern does not have a single set of scales for sale right now, at least not through their website. Has anyone US-based given them a call, asked if maybe they still have some for sales over the phone? I did call Halpern about Mule scales, back in the last week of January. As I was ...

Re: Manix 2 LW CPM SPY27 now shipping to dealers!

I've been carrying one for a few days now. Frankly, I could care less about the color, but I really like the design (of course I'm partial) and it's a bigger chunk of the steel than my Para 3 and I really like the steel. Of course I'm partial there as well. sal Thank you Sal. It is exciting for me ...

Re: Manix 2 LW CPM SPY27 now shipping to dealers!

I like the new color, but don't think I'll get another Manix 2 LW until I work out the process for drilling out the rivets and replacing them with screws. The best 'trick' I have found, Tom. Is to use a very small carbide burr in a Dremel. Slowly grinding a little bit of the head of the rivet off a...

Re: Manix 2 LW CPM SPY27 now shipping to dealers!

I was hoping, and getting use to the idea of it coming in the more teal color. As seen in some pictures. I thought adding yet another blue lightweight to the history books, was odd. How many is this now, four? (BD1, BD1N, S110V, SPY 27 . . . )

Re: 100% of people agree on this one thing!

I'm all in, of course! :D I too bring this up, a couple of times a year. How can the Manix be left out this long, without K390? I'm pretty easy when it comes to colors, though I would vote for a green. Foliage green would be my first choice, but the XHP has had that already. Heck, at this point of t...

Re: Spyderco Manix 2 CPM-SPY27 Cobalt Blue FRCP C101PCBL2

I'm waiting for screw construction before I buy any more Manix LWs. Sold my few I had in the last purge. None until screws for me. Hopefully they change over before this one. Yes, I hear you steelcity16. It is time. No need to keep treating the Manix 2 like this. It's 2020, and time for screw const...

Did knifecenter sell theirs yet?

I have to think, that they would all be sold by now, so I just called them quick. And yes, they have sold all of theirs, and do not expect any more in, GarageBoy.

You got one! Can't wait to hear your thoughts on rex45! [EDIT: Sorry for going off topic in this "alert only thread"! Had already posted my reply before realizing that] Yes I did! :) And actually the by far most important reason (if not even the sole one) was that I wanted to try REX45 and the Mani...
