Looks like anything that comes stock in CPMM4 is out. wonder if it has to do with availability.
Discontinued for 2026
Re: Discontinued for 2026
The tenacious in m4 is a fantastic knife. I hope to see other steels in this knife. Same with resilience
Re: Discontinued for 2026
Seems likely. Man I LOVE M4. Really hope BHQ continues the tradition with something similar and not Cruwear.electro-static wrote: ↑Mon Nov 03, 2025 9:54 amLooks like anything that comes stock in CPMM4 is out. wonder if it has to do with availability.
If someone would do a black blade GB2 exclusive before it's too late that would be awesome. BHQ? SNK? Please?
Re: Discontinued for 2026
There are plenty other PM M4 sources, so availability shouldn't be a problem

I don't think we will lose sight of M4. Such a great steel! Even with the Crucible . . . . . bankruptcy, many, many other companies make it.

Re: Discontinued for 2026
Nice to see a short list.
As others, I wonder if there are other factors than slow sales affecting some of this, e.g. tariffs and / or access to steels that used to come from Crucible.
Whatever made them go away, I’m glad to see the list much shorter and much less FOMO inducing (non actually) than I had feared.

Neatro is OBVIOUSLY the name of an obscure lesser supervillian in the marvel cosmos. I'd go with Vasco for the camp aloneSteveMidwest wrote: ↑Fri Nov 07, 2025 8:35 pmI don't think we will lose sight of M4. Such a great steel! Re: Discontinued for 2026
It’s sad to see the Itamae series got cut.
Re: Discontinued for 2026
Lol! Very subtle way of saying "almost no detent". I can wrist flick my GB2 open.

Re: Discontinued for 2026
I’m pretty sure my daughter is getting me the Bradley 2 for Christmas. Well either that or the Dodo. Can’t go wrong with either of them. So I’m good. Either way I get to add another CPM M4 knife to my collection.

Re: Discontinued for 2026
I have all of the Murray Carter knives except the Itamae Nakiri. I use the two smaller ones almost daily, and can't imagine good substitutes - the larger, notsomuch, but when I want it, it's great to have. I guess the less expensive Murray Carter line is functionally the same, so no big deal.
Re: Discontinued for 2026
GB2 inbound. I must say I’m sad M4 is departing, I’ve recently reacquainted with it in my Para3 and really like the steel. I like REX45 slightly better, but right now those are my go-to EDCs.

Re: Discontinued for 2026
The GB2 is one of my very favorite knives. It so satisfying to use and it looks gorgeous.
The liner lock will break in significantly the more you use it, mine was pretty stiff at first. And it helps if you push down on it as you push it to the left
