Chinook arrived today. Such a hefty, well-built model.

The very model of Spyderco that got me into Spyderco knives. Same steel, as well.

This v1 Rescue is my oldest knife, and very fun to carry. (and to sketch)

That's a beautiful knife. I'm a big fan of the Rescues.

My only 'safe queen' - Calypso Sprint. But since I'm sitting on my butt inside today, I'll fiddle with it and call it "carrying".

Yeah, the Rescues are super cool. I have this one, and a newer version shaped similarly to the Atlantic Salt, and a Byrd Cara Cara Rescue, and I like all of them very much. The v1 Rescue has one of the most ergonomic handles I've experienced on a knife though. The contouring makes a big difference, and the rounded plastic clip too (although it doesn't do a great job at holding the knife clipped in place haha)bearrowland wrote: ↑Thu Apr 20, 2023 8:32 amThat's a beautiful knife.
