dfmccarthy,
WOW!!

Those are some really cool well thought out improvements. Thankx for sharing them. I really see what you mean about the difference between normal carry and discreet in the Rescue you modified. WOW!! you have put a lot of work into this.

The Photon is also one of my EDC tools. I tend to carry two or three colors for different needs. White for details, Turquoise for area, and red for attention. If others are not interested, and you still would like to share. Please e-mail me, zabrewolf@mn.rr.com.

There is no way I want to misout on some for your idea if you're willing to share.

Thank You.

Dfmccarthy, there's such a lot of information in your posts that I'll have to take my time and study them in several rounds! Thank you for sharing your ideas. I think there are many valuable things coming from someone who really seems to use a lot an utility knife.

Several have mentioned puting grooves on the spine of their knives -- I suppose somewhat like the Millie or Native?

Is this a self mod or have you sent them out? If self, any advice on how to do it with out screwing up?

There is no right way to do a wrong thing

I did my own notches in my SS Delica. I used my dremel and a cut-off wheel. They aren't as straight as they should be, but it works. <img src="smile.gif" width=15 height=15 align=middle border=0>
